**MA5X Industrial Heavy-Duty Degreaser** is the most powerful formula in our lineup. Engineered with a maximum-strength pH 13-14 alkaline concentrate, it’s built exclusively for extreme applications where standard degreasers fail.

If you need to strip years of baked-on carbon or tackle heavy manufacturing maintenance, this is your solution. _Note: This is not for general facility cleaning—use only when you require maximum alkaline chemistry and are prepared to handle it safely._

-   **Engine Rebuilding:** Penetrates and dissolves years of baked-on oil, carbon deposits, and compacted soils from blocks, heads, and manifolds in just 2 to 6 minutes.
    
-   **Metal Fabrication & Production:** Strips cutting fluids, lubricants, and accumulated soils from fabrication tables, press beds, and conveyor systems.
    
-   **Industrial Concrete:** Lifts long-term grease and oil buildup from shop floors to prep for coating, sealing, or inspection.
    
-   **Heavy Equipment & Power Gen:** Highly effective for scheduled maintenance on generator housings, compressors, and turbine components.
    

### Choosing the Right MA5X Degreaser

Always start with the mildest product that gets the job done:

-   **All-Purpose (pH 11-12):** For daily facility and commercial cleaning.
    
-   **Black Degreaser (pH 12-13):** For heavy commercial degreasing on vehicles and engines.
    
-   **Industrial (pH 13-14):** **For extreme applications only.** Use this product only when the Black Degreaser hasn't achieved the necessary results.
    

### Directions for Use

-   **Extreme Contamination (Engines & heavy carbon):** Dilute 1:5 (1 part concentrate to 5 parts water).
    
-   **Heavy Maintenance (Regularly serviced equipment):** Dilute 1:10.
    
-   **Application:** Apply via brush, pressure washer, or spray. Allow 2 to 6 minutes of dwell time, agitate compacted deposits, and rinse thoroughly with clean water.
    

**⚠️ Application Warnings:**

-   Always use in well-ventilated areas with active mechanical air circulation.
    
-   **Do not** apply to aluminum without strictly limiting contact time and rinsing immediately.
    
-   **Do not** mix with acidic cleaners, descalers, hull cleaners, or vinegar-based products.

### ⚠️ DANGER: Critical Safety Information

This is the highest-strength product in the MA5X lineup. It carries the GHS **DANGER** signal word and is classified as causing serious eye damage (H318), skin irritation (H315), and possible allergic skin reaction (H317). At pH 13-14, eye contact can cause permanent damage. Not appropriate for commercial kitchens, offices, or household use.

-   **Required PPE:** Chemical-resistant gloves, safety glasses or face shield, and protective clothing. Mechanical ventilation is mandatory in enclosed spaces (contains 2-Butoxyethanol; NIOSH recommended exposure limit: 5 ppm).
    
-   **Eye Contact:** Flush immediately with water for at least 15 minutes. Remove contact lenses. Call a poison center or doctor immediately (P310). Do not delay.
    
-   **Skin Contact:** Remove contaminated clothing immediately. Wash the affected area thoroughly with water. Seek medical attention if irritation develops.
    
-   **Storage & Disposal:** Keep out of reach of children. Store strictly separated from all acids and oxidizing agents to prevent dangerous reactions. Do not allow spills to reach drains, waterways, or storm systems.
