Protect your marine investment from rust and corrosion. MA5X Salt Remover is a highly concentrated, sulfamic acid-based formula designed to instantly dissolve stubborn salt deposits from boat hulls, trailers, engines, and marine gear.

Unlike basic salt rinses, MA5X features a built-in anticorrosive additive. This advanced corrosion inhibitor bonds to metal surfaces, leaving a light protective film that actively slows the return of rust between washes.

How to Use

  • External Surfaces: Dilute 1 to 2.5 oz per gallon of fresh water (0.5%–2% concentration), depending on salt buildup. Apply via sprayer or brush, let dwell briefly, and rinse thoroughly.

  • Engine Flush: Mix according to your specific engine or flush kit guidelines. Circulate through the cooling system post-run or during winterization, then rinse with fresh water per manufacturer instructions.

  • Note: Do not mix with alkaline cleaners or base solutions. Always test on a small, inconspicuous area first when using on painted or coated surfaces.

  • Aluminum, stainless steel, and chrome

  • Fiberglass, gel coat, vinyl, and most plastics

  • Sealed or treated wood surfaces

  • Outboard/inboard engines, outdrives, hulls, trailers, kayak racks, and fishing gear

Safe Handling & Specifications

  • ⚠️ WARNING: Causes eye irritation on contact. May cause skin irritation with prolonged exposure.

  • Precautions: Wear rubber gloves and safety glasses when handling the concentrate. Avoid breathing mist or spray. Keep out of reach of children. Store away from alkaline products and bases.

  • First Aid: If eye contact occurs, rinse cautiously with water for several minutes. Seek medical advice if irritation persists.
