Titan "Ruby Hive" Damascus Ulu Knife | Ruby & Cobalt Honeycomb Resin Handle | Custom Crescent Leather Sheath

Rooted in centuries of Inuit and Alaska Native tradition, the Titan "Ruby Hive" Damascus Ulu Knife is a precision culinary and field-processing tool designed for effortless rocking, mincing, and chopping. Marrying heritage blade geometry with striking modern materials, this handcrafted piece delivers exceptional utility in the kitchen and stands out as a distinctive collector's item.

Performance & Specifications

  • Blade Steel: Hand-forged 300+ layer Damascus steel combining 1095 high-carbon and 15N20 nickel alloy steels for superior edge retention and durability.

  • Blade Profile: Traditional crescent ulu shape featuring a dual-pattern Damascus finish (bull's-eye rings transitioning into flowing wavy lines) and an integrated thumb ring cutout for enhanced control.

  • Hardness: Oil-quenched and tempered to 57–60 HRC for a keen, easily re-sharpenable working edge.

  • Handle: Wide, ergonomic palm grip cast from rich ruby red resin with a hand-set hexagonal honeycomb mosaic in ruby, cobalt blue, and teal, accented by crisp white cell borders and silver pins.

  • Sheath: Custom-fitted, two-tone genuine leather sheath in cognac tan and espresso with a fan-and-scallop stamped border, brass snap closures, and gold saddle thread stitching.

Care & Maintenance

  • Wipe the blade completely dry after each use and apply a light coat of mineral oil or Flitz polish to prevent oxidation and protect the Damascus pattern.

  • Hand wash only; never submerge in water or place in a dishwasher.

  • Maintain the cutting edge using a curved honing rod or a leather strop.

  • Store in a dry environment, avoiding long-term storage inside the leather sheath to prevent moisture accumulation.
